  • Slice the leche flan and shred the jackfruit.

  1. Shave the Ice:

  • Crush ice in a blender or use a shaved ice machine until you have finely shaved ice. I use snow because we have plenty in Canada.

  1. Assemble the Halo-Halo:

  • In tall glasses or bowls, start layering the halo-halo ingredients as per your preference.

  • Begin with a layer of shaved ice.

  • Add a variety of the prepared halo-halo ingredients on top of the ice.

  • Drizzle sweetened condensed milk and evaporated milk over the layers.

  • Repeat the layers until the glass is filled.

  1. Top it Off:

  • Finish the halo-halo by topping it with more shaved ice.

  • Drizzle additional sweetened condensed milk and evaporated milk on top.

  • Garnish with more leche flan, ube halaya, and shredded coconut.

  • Or optional I use fruits instead.

  1. Serve and Enjoy:

  • Serve immediately and enjoy the delightful mix of textures and flavors!

Feel free to customize the recipe with your favorite halo-halo ingredients. This dessert is known for its flexibility, so you can get creative and tailor it to your taste preferences.
